I'm an Adult, or so I thought!

A brief update on my life. Nothing too exciting has happened.

1. I deep cleaned my room and unpacked all my stuff (well most of it). A month after moving back to Wyoming from Provo and I finally unpacked most of my stuff and cleaned my room. My room was a disaster, and it is finally starting to come together. It still isn't completely done but it will be soon. I also finally got my big tv hooked up. =) Yay.

2. I got hired at FMC again this summer and I start tomorrow! I am excited to see all my friends from last year but not excited to start working. I am also excited to get some money (too bad all of it is going to my New Zealand trip, and by all of it I mean every last drop).

3. My best friend got married! I can't believe this one. Lexie and I have been friends since we were born. We are only a few months apart. I was born in July and she was born in September. She just missed the deadline so we weren't in the same grade, but that didn't stop us from being friends. She lives down the street from me. We were always at each others houses playing. I can't believe my long time friend is married. I am so happy for her and wish her the best of luck.

4. I finally bought my Hawaii ticket! I will be heading out on June 18 and will be back the 26! Hopefully work doesn't mind too much and will let me have the days off! =) I am excited to go to Hawaii but I am mostly excited to see one of my other best friends Jordyn! I haven't seen her for two years. That is a long time.

5. I renewed my drivers license. It doesn't expire until July, but I don't have a day off of work between now and then that I could go and renew it. I was all excited to get an "adult" drivers license (a side to side one instead of up and down). Well,  I renewed it so early before my birthday, it is still up and down. Man.

Life in Wyoming is very low key and relaxed. I don't have to worry about much, I can sleep in (well I could that is over) life is good. It is finally starting to warm up, although the grass is still brown and there are no leaves. Oh well that will come with time! I finished watching all of Veronica Mars. I was very disappointed with the way that it ended. I am now currently hooked on Scrubs and have started watching Ugly Betty. Can you tell I have way too much time on my hands.

I have had a lot on my mind lately, mostly thinking about how great last semester was and how much I miss everyone. I need to embrace what is going on in my life now! Life is too short to wish you were back doing something you did or with someone that is gone. Live life now!

This year was so much fun. I had so many wonderful friends and we did a lot of fun stuff together. This post is for all of the things that happened to me this year!

while waiting in line with them. They are AMAZING! 

I went on many late night study break, frosty runs! 

I went to more basketball games with Marjorie, and Em. 

I got to witness the epicness of Jimmer Fredette.

I got frozen yogurt with some great friends! 

I cheered for BYU and Wyoming at the same time!

I got turned into a clown by Brother Borup. 

I "studied" in the library!

I got to teach 2nd grade and I fell in love with it. 

Tausha and I did a lot of crazy fun things together.

I bought something I thought I would never wear and love it.
I took pictures and explored campus at night with my amazing roomie. 

We had a freshman reading day reunion. 

I went on an amazing temple trip! (Celeste, Jeff, Jordan, Skye,
Megan, Lindsay, Michael, Me, Nick, and Marcus)

We ate and PF Changs and I discovered that I actually like
Chinese Food. 

These are just a few of the things I did this semester. I could keep going. I had a blast and I am sad that it is over, but I can't wait until I can make new memories. Thank for everyone that made this year so great!

Anyways, update on my boring life. I have been back in Wyoming for a week and a half. I officially have a summer job, I start on the 16th. Today I went and had my physical/drug test then I went shopping! I spent way more money than I should have. I go to Hawaii in a month and half and I still don't have a ticket, better get on that. 


I have a new favorite show thanks to Netflix, Scrubs! It is super funny! Missing everyone back in Provo like crazy. =(
